For the past few years Andrew Macdougall has been doing Charles Dickens impersonations – Andrew performs one or more of the “readings” Dickens used to give which were adaptations of extracts from his books and stories. These aren’t just “readings”, they are performances.

The next one Andrew will be doing is rather special – it is “The Cricket on the Hearth”, one of Dickens’ Christmas stories. It is special because Dickens’ own adaptation for performance has been lost, and Andrew will be presenting his own adaptation.

The performance will take place at MCLL on Friday, November 25th at 10:00

Cost is $10 at the door, or $8 if you pre-register (MCLL office: 514-398-8234).

If you can’t make it on November 25th Andrew will also be performing it on Wednesday December 7th at 14:00 at the Westmount Library (4574 Sherbrooke W) – you can pick up a ticket at the library.
